I have started my training for a half marathon that I am planning on running the end of August. It is up by Millville and it is called Top of Utah and I am really excited. My goal for this marathon is 2 hours and 45 minutes and I think I can do it. I am going to be doing it with a few friends and I am really excited.
Yesterday was our official start day for training, but because I had to be to work at 7a.m. and had class lastnight at 7 I decided to start my training today. Day one I was suppose to run 3 miles and then Day two was rest day. So today I actually ran 3.38 miles and my time was 37.33 minutes with a pace of 11.05 per mile (basically that is saying that I run a mile in 11 minutes 5 seconds and I burned 470 calories.
Tomorrow I am going to run 4 miles. I have to be up and running by 6 a.m. but I am going to do this. I am really excited and can't wait to see how I progress. I am sure that it will be slow, but that is why I am going to be tracking this so that I can see the progress that I make each day and week.

Way to go! I wish I had that energy, and/or determination.
I wish I had the less fat! Its hard to run chubby. You are doing great. Keep up the good work. Might motivate me to lose some fat
