Wow I am so behind

I have been the world's crappiest blogger lately. Things have been crazy around here and we are taking things one day at a time. So I am going to give you an update on everyone and hopefully be able to keep up on things from here on.

  • Kayden is doing great. He has an infection in each ear and is on Augmentin to help it. He is growing and developing right on track. He has hit a growth spurt lately and is currently above the 50th percentile in heigth and weight. The docs say that if he stay on the 50th percentile he should be about 5'6" tall when he is full grown and if he stays where he is right now he will be about 6' tall. When I heard that I was shocked since he had such a hard time starting his life out. I often wonder how tall he would have been had he not had the problems that he had. Kayden has a great sense of humor and keeps me laughing all the time. He is the most sensitive kid I have ever seen and he is also the sneakiest kid I have seen also.

  • Koy is master destructo at our house. He is into everything all of the time. He has pulled the keys off of my keyboard more times than I can count, he is pulling out all of his toys all of the time and just plain being a handful of a little boy. He is also great at throwing terrible two tantrums. He also copies everything someone says and he loves to tattle and fight with Kayden. He truly is going to be my handful.

  • Lexi is such a girl and is in the tween stage. She is doing good in school and is a big help around the house. She is such a little mom to the boys and she helps them in any way that she can.

We have had a good Valentines day. I got a new front loading washer and dryer since my old ones were pretty close to going out. So it has been nice to have the laundry complete their cycles and not have to depend on me to finish the spin cycle or stop the dryer. I also got a new ironing board since Koy decided that he needed to hang on my old one and made the thing collapse. We gave Lexi a Club Penguin membership for 6 months and she was pretty excited about that and the boys got little Star Wars Figurines that do not require me to do anything with them. I think the best part of today was that me, Lexi and Kayden were able to go to the Draper Temple Open House and tour the temple. It is such a beautiful building. The granite on the outside of the bulding was imported from China and the Cherry Wood on the inside was imported from Africa and it is beautiful. Of course my two favorite rooms were the Bride's Room and the Celestial Room. Kayden liked the Sealing room with the mirrors, Lexi loved all of it. It is smaller compared to all the others around the area. One interesting thing....as we were on our way out the final usher that was telling us which was to go was non other than.....Carole Makita from KSL 5. I didn't get any pictures because it was a blizzard outside while we were there.

Josh is in the lookout for a new job so if anyone hears anything please pass it on to us. I am working away at Walmart. I guess the only good thing about my job is that I am really active and I have lost a few pant sizes in the last 7 months. Yeah for me!

I promise I will post more and I will be posting more insightful posts other than updates on all of us. I think everyone should get the privilege of hearing my perspective and opinion on things.

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I've been in a blog funk! I'm excited that tomorrow we are going to see the Draper Temple, so maybe that will make my funk go away :)

Thanks for the update! Your family is beautiful!
