Kayden and Lexi headed out to school this morning. They left around 7:25 so that they could catch some breakfast and Lexi has band and Kayden goes and hangs out with her in band or finds his friends and plays. At the same time I head out to take Koy to the baysitter so that I can get to my really boring chemistry class.
As I drove down the street I saw them walking up ahead and I saw that Kayden must have gotten cold. (He refuses to wear a jacket in the morning when I suggest it.) I saw that Lexi had taken off her jacket and had draped it over Kayden's backpack so that he could wear it and not be cold. I thought that it was very sweet of her. She watches out for him and makes sure that he is o.k. I wish I would have been able to pull over and have taken a picture of them.

She is such a mother to him. Maybe she will be able to get him to wear a jacket. He will do anything for her. Did you get the flute cleaned up? I can't vision Kayden walking to school.......can't get my mind around that.
