Thankful #5
I am thankful for my job. I enjoy working with people. I also love trying to deal with unruly customers. I know it sounds weird, but I find it a challenge. I like it when I can calm people down and explain to them why things happen the way they do. It gives me a sense of pleasure when they walk away feeling like I have taken the time to listen to them. I love the people I work with. I have some great managers and some great co-workers. I am glad that I have a job that provides me with the money to pay the bills and have our needs met. Yeah I could use more since the money doesn't stretch as far as I need it too, but some is better than none. My job also provides us with insurance that we so desperately nee.

I am thankful for my Savior Jesus Christ. One of my favorite hymns is "I Know that My Redeemer Lives".
I know that Redeemer lives.
What comfort this sweet sentence gives!
He lives, he lives, who once was dead.
He lives, my ever-living Head.
He lives to bless me with his love.
He lives to plead for me above.
He lives my hungry soul to feed.
He lives to bless in time of need.
He lives to grant me rich supply.
He lives to guide me with his eye.

I have felt his love and his comfort many times in the past and recently. I know that he KNOWS me and that he LOVES me. I just need to remember to be a better person and talk to him every day.

Four years ago TODAY Kayden was officially put on the transplant list. Oh how our lives have changed. I have more to speak about on this subject in about seven days. But I am thankful for his doctors, dietician and so many healthcare professionals and therapists who have helped us along our kidney journey. The medical advances that have happened and have yet to happen are amazing and I know that they are inspired by the Lord.
