Update

We are a bunch of sickies this past week. Kayden started with some sort of viral thing last Saturday. He has been running a fever off and on since then. His breathing is HORRIBLE and his ear started draining infection on Wednesday. We went to transplant clinic on Monday and everything was fine, they even did a chest x-ray, he just sounds like crap. So we have been told to do breathing treatments and give him drops for his ear that is draining. Tonight he has done nothing but sleep since about 6 p.m. and I have been a little worried. I called the transplant coordinator to see what the doc thought and he said not to worry too much about the fever since we know for sure that he is fighting an ear infection. They also said that if he isn't getting any better by tomorrow night to call them and we will see what else may be going on. Hopefully it won't be too much since I know the hospital is so full of yucky viral upper respiratory things that I am hoping that it isn't anything too horrible.

Koy has conjuctivitis, or pink eye. He is also trying to cut 4 teeth and I had to take his binky away beginning Monday night because I actually lost his binky and I didn't want to go buy another one so he has been binky free since Monday. We have had a few nights of HELL but he is finally getting better.

Lexi is doing great. We had parent teacher conferences on Tuesday and she is doing great. She is off the charts in her reading and is actually second in her class and reading on a third grade level. She is doing great and I am so proud of her.

This weekend I am having to take our dog, Sally, to the vet so that he can look at her and make sure that everything is o.k. She has a thyroid problem that makes her gain weight and lose hair and she needs to take medication for it. I am hoping that it isn't anything more than that and that we can get her meds and help her get better, if it is something more than that then we will have to see what options we have. She is just really not doing good right now. It is so sad because she is such a good dog with the kids and they all love her and they love to climb all over her but she just isn't feeling very good.

I also will be finishing the last book in the Twilight Series. I LOVE THESE BOOKS! I can't wait until the fourth book comes out this fall. I am so in love with Edward and Jacob and Bella. I even have dreams about them! The only good thing about finishing the books is that I will now be able to get things done around the house since I won't be consumed with reading them. First thing on my list is to clean up around my computer.
