Resolutions

I hate resolutions, but at the same time I make the resolutions only to give me some little bit of guidance as we start this new year. So with that being said I will start with a few of my resolutions that I am really going to work hard on accomplishing this year.

1. Potty Training Kayden. I will make this resolution by saying that by 2009 Kayden will be potty trained. I don't know when I am going to start or how long it will take but it will be done by next year. He will be 4 you know so I am pretty confidant that I can accomplish this goal.

Now for some hefty ones...

2. I am going to cut back on my soda and drink mostly Diet Pepsi for now. I will allow myself a few full strength Mountain Dew and Pepsi, but I am going to cut back on drinking the 6 or 7 that I usually do in a day.

3. I am going to hold FHE (Family Home Evening) with me and my kids every week. I will start by doing it on Mondays and if we find that as being to difficult then I will do it on Sunday evenings.

4. I am going to have my kids in bed by 9 p.m.. I know that for some people that is late, but it has worked for me for the last 8 years so I don't really want to change it up too much.

5. I am going to do better at getting up in the mornings when I am suppose to so that I can make it to where I need to be ON TIME. I have been horrible the past month but I am going to do better with the start of this new year. I will let you know how I am doing tomorrow morning!

6. I am going to read the entire Book Of Mormon with my kids. It might take us a whole year and the two boys may not get much out of it, but at least we will be bringing in those much needed blessings because we are putting forth the effort to read them.

7. I am going to make sure that dinner is done every night and thought of before hand which means I will probably need to plan my meals in advance. I really don't mind doing this since I have done it in the past.

That is the beginning. I may have a few monthly goals that I will work on throughout the year. For the month of January it is to complete Lex's bedspread and Kayden BYU blanket. I also want to get a blanket done for Josh before our anniversary.

So what are your resolutions? Let us know and give us some more ideas.
