After our Sunday spent at the ER with sick kids we got some good news on Christmas Eve Day. Josh was approved by the judge to come home and see us until Wednesday afternoon. So we had a great time on Christmas spending it with Josh and enjoying our time together.
The kids all had fun even though they were ill. I think the only one that was really truly miserable was Koy because he just never got better. He ended up in the ER Christmas night to get on an antibiotic so that he could start to get better.
I was really lookin forward to having pictures of my kids in their new Christmas outfits, but that will have to wait because we didn't go to church and won't be to church for another week or so. Hopefully they won't grow out of them by then.
Here is a list of things that the kids got.
Lexi: All she wanted was an American Girl Doll. She walked around for a month with the American Girl Catalog and in her letter to Santa she even cut the picture out and glued it to the letter so that he would know exactly which one she wanted.
She also got some much needed clothes, a few Hannah Montana CD's, and some new shoes.
Kayden got a new football uniform complete with helmet, a bead maze, a Buzz Lightyear train and some clothes.
Koy got some new clothes, a dancing Elmo, a new truck, a shape sorter, and a race car track that he gets to share with Kayden. He really didn't care what he got he will still play with all of Kayden's toys.
Josh got some pajamas from my parents and a little crystal thing from Lexi. Because he couldn't really enjoy the gifts that he would be getting for Christmas I decided to wait and give him his gifts for our Anniversary and Valentines day in February.
I did get a few things to my surprise: I received a 3 hour spa treatment courtesy of Josh via Nicky. He asked her to help him get a gift for me since he couldn't and he would pay her back when he got home. I also got a Celine Dion CD and some other great gifts that were very thoughtful and completely unexpected. I am thankful that I have family that sees the hard work that I do because they truly gave me a great gift. Don't worry Nicky you will be joining me in my adventure because I am sure that Josh really would not mind watching the kids since it isn't something he is overly thrilled of.
We had a great time. Here are a few pictures of the kids in the Snow a few weeks back that I am a little late posting. Also here are some with Santa.
I will be posting next about Kayden Christmas pictures and will load some video once I get it onto YouTube.
Also coming up in January you guys will get to see my New Year Resolutions and if I am keeping them!

I better get to go, I already told you I am going! :) I thought it was a good time for Josh to "enjoy" the kids and let you have time away. I hope you had a good christmas. Kayden liked having Spidermand and Elmo wrestle. I tried telling him that they don't, but he got his finger up and said "YES THEY DO!" it was funny, couldn't help but laugh. Thank you for SHREK3. I think I got the sickness now! I am just going to spend the day blowing my nose and couging! Can't wait to see you guys tomorrow. Hope they like the gifts from Aunt Nicky. Many hours of thought went intothe gifts for the neices and nephes
Great pictures! I am so glad to hear that Josh got to come home, that was a present in itself! It took me a while to update too, but I got it done today!
Sounds like you had a good Christmas, except for the illnesses! I will update soon, seems hard to get back into the swing of things after a holiday. We are coming to Utah the last week of March so if we could work it out we would love to see you guys. We'll talk later about it, just wanted to give you a heads up.
ps my girls were at the dr. today and both have strep! No sore throats just rash. Someday we will all be healthy :)
Updating for Christmas takes awhile. I have after Christmas pics up...but since we left on Christmas day, my CHristmas pics are still on the photo card at home!! (The Site Meter doesn't move so much over CHristmas either!!)
I'm glad you had a happy Christmas. Having Josh home made it really special! Hope everybody is feeling better soon!!!
