I spoke too soon
It happened. I broke down and took Kayden to the ER. His temp got up to 103 and that was 2 hrs after I gave him Tylenol. I called to the ER to see if I could avoid that ugly waiting room and not expose him to anything in there and they made arrangements for me. The doctor looked in his throat and said that he has strep and I also explained to him about a rash that he had on his body and apparently you can get a rash along with strep. So Kayden is now on antibiotics and guess what we have to do tomorrow, probably travel to Price to get his stupid prescriptions filled. Boy is my medicaid worker going to hear from me! The thing is you would never guess that he is sick because he isn't acting sick at all other than he is burning up.

Baylie has had strep 3 times since school has started and each time it has been the rash and a temp. She never complains of a sore throat. I didn't know about the rash until this year either. I hope they all get better soon!!
