Thanks and Loving the Snow!!!

Thanks to all of you who responded to my last post with encouragement. My pity party didn't last too long since I have the kiddos that I have to take care of and they keep me on my toes.

So, things are going good around here. I was able to sell Josh's Playstation 3 so that we could have some money for Christmas and that was a blessing. I didn't think that we would be able to but we were blessed and I was. Josh won't have it to play anymore, but that is o.k. it really took up a lot of his time anyways.

It started to snow last night while I was in Price with Koy getting his ears looked at (by the way he has an ear infection in his left ear and some weird thing on his tongue) and by the time I was out of Walmart and heading home it was snowing! It snowed all night and off and on today. It has been so nice. Me and the kids built a snowman since we weren't able to make one last weekend. Kayden loves playing in the snow and throwing snowballs. He has a really good arm too. Lexi also loves to play in the snow and has enjoyed every minute she is out there. Koy, on the other hand, only likes it if he can stay on the sidewalk and any place that doesn't have snow. We did have to buy snow boots for everyone because Lexi outgrew hers and Kayden and Koy didn't have any and I gave mine away to DI when we moved. So that is another reason why it is good that we sold the Playstation because of those unexpected things that come up. Also we are glad to have my little income from the paper and my EARLY (try 5:30 a.m.) cleaning job at Alco to make up the difference.

I am thinking of taking Lexi and Kayden to the basketball game tonight. I need to get Kayden out so that he can work on his social phobia! I am sure that if Grandpa goes with us he will be much happier.

So glad to hear that your are in better spirits. We all hit rough patches, but moms have to be strong for their children. I know it's hard.

We are thinking of selling Jason's xbox 360, but I don't know how much we would get. He won it last year at a raffle at work, and it does take up too much of his time and I can't stand it. We also need some money for the holidays.
