Busy, Busy, Busy

Between work and picking kids up and getting things done on my days off, life can be really busy around here. It will be much better once I am not driving to Bountiful every day to get the kids to and from the babysitter everyday.

We will start with Lexi. She has been going to an after school program offered through the school. They do math, arts and crafts and she has really enjoyed it. She is also part of the Safety Patrol at school and her first day is tomorrow. She is really excited about that. They have parent teacher conferences this month so we will see how she is doing this year so far. She did get a snowboarding pass because she talked less at school last term. She is really excited to have her own pass this winter.

Next is Kayden. He is doing great and over his antibiotic treatment for his ear infection. He has been put on an antiobiotic for preventive purposes to help his UTI's. He has put on some weight since they increased his feedings but other than that he is doing great. He has a birthday coming up in October and a transplant anniversary in November.

Next is Koy. OH MY. What do you say about Koy. He is fully potty trained and we are happy about that. The other day I looked outside though and there was Koy's little bum and he was peeing on a tree. He loves to sing and he is a cutie.

We have had the opportunity to attend Kidney Camp again this year. We had a ton of fun. The kids played in the little Western Town replica that they have. We even got to swim this year. I enjoyed being up in the mountains. The leaves were starting to turn and it was beautiful. Here are a few pics from the weekend

Our cabin this year. It seemed a little more roomy and we had fun.

Koy singing with some random person. He loves to sing!

Lexi, Alyssa, Jared, Kayden and Koy singing. They had a blast.

This is what me and Koy saw as we were walking back to our car on the path. Do you see it? A snake!

We also stopped at Bridal Veil Falls on the way home from Kidney Camp.

We also were able to go to the over-priced State Fair! Never again. But here are a few pics for Grandpa.

Can't forget the cows.

Here is Kayden and the cow.

Here ya go Grandpa!

This was Kayden riding the horse. He was scared so he watched.

The kids are all looking so big! Kayden really does look like he is putting on some weight and Koy is growing up so much! Lexi is beautiful, as always. I am sure she loves her craft projects. Timid Kayden doesn't surprise us about not wanting to ride the horses, choosing to watch instead. I bet Koy loved the snake. Sure miss doing things with the kids. Maybe another time soon. Love ya all!
