I think about posting something everyday and then I sit down to do it something happens and I don't have enough time to actually type it all. Then when I do I realize that time has flown and it is either a week or longer since I last put something.
I love fall time. One of my favorite things is caramel apples. I have never actually made them so when I do eat them it is either a bought one, or someone else has made them or it is dipping the apple in the caramel. Well today I decided to make them with the kids. The kids unwrapped two bags of caramel and then we let it cook on the stove. I dipped the apples in the caramel and then we put them in the fridge for them to harden. I pulled them out of the fridge and let them sit out while we were gone to Tyler's party and when we got back they had softened up and some of the caramel had come off of the apples. I now know what not to do next time. They still turned out really yummy.

The finished product....They look so yummy!
This afternoon we went to Nancy's for Tyler's birthday party and we had a lot of fun. The boys played in the ball pit and loved just running outside and playing. Lexi loved playing, but she always does. We had fun hanging out with the family. The food was great (thanks Dallas) and the cake was great.

Those look delicious!! I love caramel apples! I have never actually "made" caramel apples either. I usually just buy the pre-packaged sheets of caramel.
