Fast Post

This is going to be really quick since I plan on getting up early in the morning to go running. I have been very faithful lately about reading my scriptures, like every night reading. I have also chosen a very hard book for me to read and that is the Old Testament. I will admit that I have never read the Bible all the way through and I don't even think I have really read a portion. I never read when I was suppose to in seminary so this is all new to me. I have really enjoyed it and as I read through it and know the stories, it helps me so much more. I also have a scripture study book that has really helped also. I did find a book at Deseret Book today that I really want called Women of the Old Testament. Glancing through that book I saw so many interesting things and I would love to have it to study about the strong women in the Old Testament since there are so many. I am proud to say that I have completed Genesis and I am moving on to Exodus.

I have also gotten involved in my running and I am so excited to see the progress that I can make by changing things here at home. I am excited to get into shape and get the kids into shape and to set an example to them. I am hoping that when the weather warms up that I can have a jogging partner with Lexi. Or maybe she can ride her bike and I will run. My ultimate goal is to lose 52 pounds. I know it will take time but I am excited for the possibilities.

I am hoping that I will have time to get the boys signed up for some kind of sport this spring/summer. They could really use it but we will have to see what the schedule is like with school and work and everything else that we have going on.

I am also getting more concerned with Kayden and his eating. Every time I talk to Cindy, our dietician she says not to worry too much and think of him being only on a 3 or 4 year old level with eating because of his start in life. Whenever I ask her where to go for therapy around here she tells me no where. The therapy around here sucks! She praises the feeding program that is in Hershey Pennsylvania. If things keep going the way they are, or aren't, I may be looking at taking Kayden back there so that he can learn to eat! The kid will not eat anything that isn't soft or easy to swallow. We have noticed that with a lot of stuff he puts his lips to it first to test the texture of it and if it isn't a certain texture he will not eat it. So let's hope for things to develop in the eating side of things for Kayden.

Carol Peacock was telling me about her grandson (I think his mother is Tara). She took him to an eating clinic to learn to eat. Maybe you can ask her where it is. Carol seemed to think it was helping.

the feeding clinic is in Sandy. Feeding clinics leave you feeling VERY frustrated. And the one in Penn. is VERY intense. A lot of hte parents of the preemies do it. I can get some info. Our OT did the feeding at shriners and she is moving to Orem.

Ty licks EVERYTHING. He won't eat only a handful of things. your welcome to bring him here and we can feed him full of gross stuff. And when all else fails you feed them what they will eat.
