Gratitude

In the Ensign this month there is an article about gratitude. In the article it encourages us to keep a gratitude journal or even just to sit down and take note of things that you have noticed. So today I am going to at least start doing this along with my regular writings that don't seem to be so regular but I will at least attempt. Life is busy around here and I try to make it less busy.

I am staying home from work today and tomorrow because I can't seem to stay away from the bathroom and then when I am in the bathroom I am in there for a good amount of time and in a lot of pain. This morning I took my medications and one of the antibiotics really upset my stomach and I actually ended up throwing them up. I really hate throwing up.

Today has been a little worse than yesterday in the sense that I have been in the bathroom more and I am sure it is because I had more food yesterday than I had the day before so it is probably the food moving through my system.

Enough about my issues, on to my gratitude part. I am thankful for my kids. Kayden was so worried about me and wanted to make sure that I was not going to stay at the hospital forever. I think he wanted to stay up until I got home to make sure that things were ok but he ended up falling asleep. I am thankful for Koy, he tries to help as much as possible. When I ask someone to bring me water or a blanket he throws a fit if he can't bring it to me. Lexi of course is a little mommy and she tries so hard to help me. She is a big help with the boys. She is currently having a fund raiser at her school she is trying to sell as much as she can.

I am thankful for Josh. He helped a lot yesterday and has helped with the kids a lot. He stayed at the hospital with me and was a big help yesterday. He took the boys to the babysitter today since they love to be too roudy and after throwing up this morning I needed the time to rest.

I am thankful for medicine. I am glad that I can take something to take away my pain. I am glad that there was a test that was able to find what is wrong. I am thankful for antibiotics to help me get better.

Hope things start getting better soon. Your boys are such sweeties. I need to get Lexi her check for the cookie dough. Maybe we will run on up after the doctor's in Provo on Thursday. Please remind me!

and you're thankful for your most WONDERFUL sister who came and stayed with the kids and refused to go home until you came home. I MADE josh stay at the hospital with you. I reassured Kayden that you weren't going to stay at the hospital forever and that you loved him and you would be home later that night.
