I think this year was the best Christmas we have had. It was nice to be at home and just our little family. We didn't have much money this year with Josh not having a job, but what we did get we were very thankful. We also had a great ward that pitched in and helped fill in some of the void.
Kayden and Lexi both got Nintendo DS's and Koy got a Stinky the Garbage truck. They all received some new clothes and some new shoes. Lexi received some art supplies that she really wanted and she received some make-up and some nail polish. Kayden got some books and a iron man toy and a watch and some other much needed stuff. Koy received a lot of Hot Wheels and some books. They each received some pajamas and a blanket from Grandma and Grandpa Labrum along with a book. Josh and I gave them a pillow with their shirts from Disney World that were autographed by the characters as a pillowcase and some books also. Josh received a Snap On coat and hat from my parents and a shirt from the kids. I received Photo Shop Elements from my mom and dad and a watch and earrings from the kids. Overall we had a great time and it was very enjoyable. (Except for the part when I got sick Christmas night with a fever and the body aches)
We were able to spend the morning with my family at my sisters. Aunt Linda was there along with Nicky, Nancy, Dallas, Tyler, Josh, Me, Lexi, Kayden, Koy, Barrett, Morgan and Max and my mom and dad. We had a great time with the kids all playing and having fun together. After all isn't that what Christmas is about; Family.
We have been very blessed. I thank the Lord everyday for all that we have and all that we have been blessed with. I look forward to 2011 with a lot of hope and excitement.
