We had a lot of fun things happen this December. I had the fortune of having a different shift on the 14th of December. Instead of working the 2-11 shift I worked the 7-4 shift. It worked out well since we were then able to attend the Hope Kids Christmas party. They had activities for the kids, Santa, crafts, food, and a magic show. It was a lot of fun and there were a lot of people there. While we were finding a place to eat I look over in the corner and I saw a little girl dancing and having a fun time. Well this little girl just so happened to be Daphne. It was so nice to see them there and she looked like she was having a great time.

On December 15 we had the privilege of going with Make A Wish and KBER to ride on the Polar Express and go and visit Santa at his Lodge at Soldier Hollow. The day started at the KBER studio and then we got on the bus and headed to Heber. We stopped at McDonalds where they provided lunch for us and then it was off to the train station. We boarded the train and took a 20 minute ride to the next stop and then headed up to see Santa where he had a gift for everyone. The kids sat on Santa's lap and we had the best time ever.
