Thursday Hero!

I didn't realize that I hadn't posted on how Kayden is doing. He ended up not needing a PIC line and is taking antibiotics by his G-Tube for about a week and he has follow up x-rays on his chest tomorrow. He went to his transplant clinic and everything was fine besides the little thing called pneumonia that he has. They couldn't believe that he was even sick because he was playing and running around and happy as could be. They said that if he acted like that when he was sick they couldn't imagine what he was like when he was well.

Now, for some fun information. BYU Football has a special thing called Thursday's Heroes and I had heard about it because the Herring twins were able to go and meet the team and the coaches and be honored by the football team. Well, I decided to write an email to the football team and see if I could get Kayden to meet them because he LOVES football. I thought Kayden would have the time of his life being able to meet them. Well, I received a email from someone who is over this program and they have invited Kayden up to meet the football team and coaches on Thursday afternoon. I will take lots of pictures so that we can post them here and so that we can show Josh. I am so excited to go and take Kayden up there and see his face. I just hope that he doesn't freak out like he does here at the high school games.
