Oh My Heck!!!

Today was just one heck of a day. I didn't get much sleep because of my late night venting session when I shouldn't of even cared considering the source. I will turn the feelings that I have over to the Lord, since He is their judge and not I, and move on.

What happened next in my day...I took the kids to the babysitter and they were thrilled. They love the babysitter and so do I. She treats my kids like they are her own grandkids and loves them unconditionally. She also treats me and loves me unconditionally and it is nice to know that I can turn to her if I need to. I then went to work for a few hours before I needed to return to the babysitter and pick up Kayden to catch the bus for school.

When I returned to pick up Kayden he was just starting a Buzz Lightyear movie and I was in a hurry to get out the door without Koy waking up and hearing me there. I did a little sweet talking to get Kayden to not throw a fit and out the door I went. I stood on the threshold of the door and while shuting the door my foot slipped and I fell with Kayden in arms. Kayden hit his head on the ground and started crying and my foot was instantly in pain. I was hurting really bad and I wanted to cry but I also did not want Kayden to get any more upset than he already was. I hurried and picked him up and limped with him to the car. In the meantime my foot is hurting more and increasing in size.

I decided that I needed to see the doc, but the local clinic didn't have an x-ray technician in the office until next week! What kind of a medical office is this that doesn't have an on call x-ray technician (saying this sarcastically). So instead I was told that I needed to go to the ER in Price. Once the x-rays were taken and the results were in, I have a broken left foot. Here is a really nice picture of my foot tonight.

I have a walking boot for my foot that I have to wear for at least 4 weeks and then have my doctor look at my foot. It actually is pretty funny considering that I have a left wrist that I don't have complete use of and I have to use crutches and a left foot that doesn't work. I am just a cripple these days!

Sorry you broke your foot. You can come recoup here in Arizona if you want. You can hang out in my "beach" in the back yard and I will bring you drinks!! At least you laughed about it.

If it is your left foot you need your right hand on the crutch. I learned that when my right knee was bad and I was using crutches. So look at it this way, it would have been worse had it been your right foot and you needed your left hand.

You are a GIMP!!!! Good thing I was coming down huh? But don't think I'm going to wait on you hand and foot! HA HA HA!! Now that was funny and you know it! :) How is Kayden's head? Maybe I will have to find him a little green power ranger or something to make him feel better since hitting his head on the cement is not all the great feeling I bet!

Oh my goodness, that sounds so painful and scary! I hope you can have some down time to rest and recover!
