Many thoughts

Life has been busy and I finally have found a little bit of time to get some blogging done even though I should be setting up my sewing machine and finishing some gifts and cleaning my house. I really wanted to get some of my thoughts down at this time and beware this will probably be long. Above are the pictures from last weekend

Here is a review of my Christmas list:

I actually all finished and I am glad that I finished my shopping last Saturday since I have one day off between now and Christmas Eve. I have to work this upcoming Saturday and Sunday all day and that should be pretty interesting since it is the last weekend before Christmas.

Last Saturday morning Lexi and Kayden had the opportunity to go shopping with the Jazz Bear. We are involved in a group called HopeKids. This group is for families with a child who has a chronic or life threatening illness. There are activities that are available for us to attend and usually at no cost due to having such high medical expenses. It is also chances for kids to do things that they probably would not be able to attend since some of the things are private activities. This is the case with the shopping with the Jazz Bear. Hopekids were special guests of the Jazz Bear and Kayden and Lexi were invited to attend and because Kayden is o.k. to go pladces on his own he was able to attend with Lexi. Lexi was able to get some of the things that she wanted and I am glad that she did and Kayden has such a big heart that he used his money for everyone in the family and did not have a lot of money left for him. They both had fun and I am glad that they were able to attend.
I sit here and think of how blessed we are right now. We have had no illnesses (knock on wood) so far this year. I feel it is because of my choice to stay at home instead of continue working during the day so that my kids didn't have to go to daycare. I think I have been the sickest out of everyone and I have only had minor things and I am sure that I have gotten my illnesses from the wonderful customers who come into our store and all the yucky, dirty money that I have to touch.
