Halloween fun!

This year I decided to request the day off from work and spend it with my kids doing Halloween stuff and Trick or Treating. I decided to dress up as a witch and have fun with them. So this morning we got up and I made them pumpkin pancakes (thanks for the recipe mom). Koy decided he didn't want to eat any breakfast which meant that I could eat more. Kayden even decided to try a few bites of it and then proceeded to tell me that "next time you will make me regular pancakes k mom." I think though that I will make them more often. After breakfast I curled Lexi's hair and put her make-up on and helped her get ready. Her outfit turned out really cute and she did a good job of thinking it up and telling me what she wanted. I then got the boys dressed and then I got in the shower and got ready.

Our first stop was to the downtown Walmart to see if they had some black fabric that I could use on Kayden's costume as an eye cover and to see James. We found something that would work and we had to pose for James to take our picture. He even had some candy bars for the kids. After Walmart we got lunch at McDonalds and started to head to Jordan Landing. On the way there I decided to stop at Gardner Village and see the witches since I didn't know if the stay out past Halloween. We had fun looking at all the witches and we took a few pics with them.

After Gardner Village we headed to Jordan Landing to see Josh and to go trick or treating out there. There were a ton of people and the kids went to all the stores and got quite a bit of candy. We then came home, had pizza, and got ready for bed. Lexi went out with a few friends to some of the houses around our place and had a little more fun. I am tired, but very happy that we had a fun time and hope that the kids enjoyed it and that they will remember it.

So cute! The costumes look fun. I bet Koy didn't keep the mask on very long. Kayden looks so tall in his. I'm not surprised that Lexi would get the fairy part in there, with the make-up she looks so "scary". Mom and Nicky look fun, too. Hope you all had a good time, and get some good sleep.
