Pictures for Christmas Cards

I love fall and have always wanted some family pictures done at fall time. This year we decided to go and I decided on Black shirts because I think the contrast with the black and fall colors would really look nice. (And I like the way my husband looks in his black shirt.)

We headed up Little Cottonwood Canyon Tuesday afternoon. It was overcast but it wasn't too bad. We figured we would just scope out some spots and take our pictures up their with my camera and set up the tripod. We found a few places and the leaves were beautiful. When we reached the top we decided to go over Guardsman Pass. It was beautiful. The leaves were yellow mixed with a little red. I was a little disappointed because my favorite color is the red leaves but we made it work with the yellow. We dropped down into Park City and drove down Main Street and at the very end of Main street we saw an old cabin and shed and decided to stop and take our pictures there.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the day. We finished just as the wind really picked up and blew the snow in.
