I have been asked a few times about the title of my blog. What does it mean? they ask. Is your life really crazy? The answer to the question is two fold. Yes, our life can be pretty crazy between doctor appointment, school, dance, work and Lexi's social life it can be pretty crazy. But the main reason for the title is this: since our last name is of course Gale and Gale also means a measure of speed mostly wind speed, that is how I came up with the title of Life at Gale Speed...Don't Blink! Now even my mom, who is a school teacher, did not catch onto the meaning of it until I explained it to her.
If you watched the football game on KJZZ on Friday you will already know that Emery of course stomped on Carbon. The rivalry is pretty lopsided but it is still a rivalry and you never know what can happen during the game.
This weekend I decided, well more precisely Kayden decided, that it is time to start potty training. I have got him underwear of every kind that he like so we will see how this week goes. Hopefully it won't be too difficult, but you never realize how much a child with kidney issues actually pees. Before his transplant he peed all of the time because his native kidney didn't know that they were suppose to keep in some of the fluid, well now he has the kidney of a 17 year old and it doesn't know that the person that has the kidney now is not 17 but is only 3 so we have to treat this kidney like a 17 year old and make sure that it has enough fluid to continue working. 3 year olds don't require as much fluid as a 17 year old so that is why we still pump a lot of water and why a lot of water get processed through. So wish me luck in the potty training thing. It is really quite new to me since when Lexi was learning to go to the potty she pretty much did it herself.
This week my kids get a special treat. They get to spend some time with their cousins and they are so excited. Lexi cannot wait! and has done nothing but ask when Max and Morgan will be coming.
I am reading a book called The Peacegiver by James L. Ferrell. It teaches about the atonement and the Saviors role in the atonement and how the atonement applies in our lives. I have only read a little bit about it and have learned a lot. After I finish the book I will comment more on it but if you are needing a little bit of studying and would like to understand more about the atonement and about the Saviors role in the atonement then I would highly recommend this book. It truly does make you see things in a different perspective which is always good in my opinion.
I shall talk more later I have to read a little of my book and then get some much needed sleep.

You brave brave lady, potty training AND my out of control kids? My kids are SUPER excited too, Morgan has picked them all out a treat to take with her :) GOOD LUCK to all the above!
I just came across your blog today. Hello, my name is Sarah. I am the mother of 3 girls. I show a shared interest in organ donation as my 6 year old daughter Anna had a liver transplant as a baby. I will come back and read up!
Good luck with potty training!
