I haven't updated for a few days so I thought I would do it now while I have a chance. Things at work are slow, which is really good, so I thought I would write something.
Josh is doing really well. He has completed the Book of Mormon and is almost through the Doctrine and Covenants. He misses us, but he is doing really well. We miss him terribly also! We did find out that his court date has changed. It has been moved from October 16 until November 6. This really sucks, but there is nothing we can do to change it. We will just grin and get through it.
The stake has planned a temple day where they are encouraging all families to go to the temple this Saturday. They have activities planned for the primary kids and there will be nursery provided for the little kids. I am really excited because this will give me an opportunity to go without imposing or burdening other people with my kids. Lexi is really excited about going to the temple and getting her picture taken and doing the activities that they have planned.
Koy has been walking all over the stinkin place. He is so cute. He will stand there and reach his hands as high as he can into the air and then bring them down to his side and do this over and over. I was listening to music the other day and Koy was standing there bouncing up and down to the music. He loves it. He figured out how to go down stairs. I was outside cooking steaks and he was up on the deck and I look down toward the driveway and there was Koy walking and playing on the driveway after going down the stairs by himself.
Kayden is turning into a football junkie. He loves it. He loves to throw the ball and then fall on the ground and roll around. He also loves to have me hold the ball on the ground so that he can kick the ball. He is preparing to be a kicker since that is the only thing that I will let him play in football. It is either the kicker or the manager! I don't know how he is going to take it when he gets older that he just won't be able to do a whole lot in the game of football.
Both the boys birthdays are in October and I was originally going to wait and have their birthdays when Josh got home since it was suppose to be the following week. Now that Josh isn't going to be coming home until later I don't know what to do. I may give the boys birthday presents and make a cake but not make a big deal out of it. Then when Josh gets home we can have cake and ice cream again and this way he can watch Koy get it all over. I know that Koy will just have a hay day because he loves to each and grabs at anything that has to deal with food!
I am off to take Lexi to the Orthodontist for a consult on her teeth again!
