Mmmmm, Good.

Kayden had his upper GI yesterday and he had to drink barium. Now because Kayden doesn't drink anything except water, I made sure that they weren't expecting him to drink any of it because if they were they would be greatly disappointed because he just doesn't do that. Well, I had to eat my words. Why is it that he will not drink anything except water and STRAWBERRY flavored BARIUM! For some reason he was drinking all of the barium that they gave him. And they asked him how it tasted and he said "Mmmmm, good" while he smacked his lips. What a weirdo!

The results from his test came back as him having no reflux, no hernia and his Nissen was in tact and nothing wrong with it.

When we got home I had to take Lexi over to the ER because she had fallen off the monkey bars at school and was complaining that her arm hurt. After the radiologist finally came in and x-rayed it around 11 p.m. (after sitting there since 9 p.m.) it was discovered that she had indeed broke her wrist. She has a sling and a splint on it now and then on Thursday we will have to go in and get it casted at the local clinic. It is only broke on one side so the doc said that it should heal quickly and she would only need a cast for about 3 weeks. This is a good thing since Josh will be home in 3 weeks and we are way excited and can't wait.

So now that I am functioning on only 4 hours of sleep because I got in bed around 1 and had to be up by 5:30 to clean floors, I am going to go and see if I can manage a little nap here somehow.

Yuck!!!! Barium, and he likes it!

But, if you want to talk wierd kids....We had to do a 24 hour creatinine urine collection for Anna. I had to fight with her to pee in the collection container (you know, those hats they put on the toilets at the hospital). She acted as though I was killing her, and as she was crying about it she asks if they can just draw her blood instead!

Sorry to hear that Lexi broke her wrist! Knock on wood, I haven't had to deal with a break yet.

When I talked to Lexi last ngith she was funny. She said she was playing a game with one hand. She said she did cry when she did it but she needed to be grown up. Well.. she doesn't have to .. Did the barium make his poop radioactive to!!
