We just had a really fun, busy week and one filled with a lot of emotion for me.
Currently I am sitting at the U of U Guest House hoping that Kayden will settle down so that he will go to bed. He has transplant clinic in the morning, bright and early at 8 a.m. for blood draw and then clinic at 9 a.m. He is also having an Upper GI done to see if his Nissen is still in tact or if it has to be repaired. That test will be at 2 p.m. and he has to be NPO for four hours prior to the test. He will ahve to have the barium since the test in done with x-rays and I am sure it will not be fun. We will say our prayers tonight and in the morning and ask Heavenly Father to keep Kayden calm and that everything will be fine with his Nissen and that no repair will be needed.
Kayden will also be getting his flu shot. Me, Lexi and Koy will be getting ours on the 23rd and Josh will get his when he gets home. We are being required that everyone in our household get a flu shot since the flu can be deadly to those that are immune suppressed.
We are heading off to turn off the lights in the hope that by making it dark in the room the boys will want to go to sleep. Wish us luck! and keep us in your prayers tomorrow.
