As I mentioned yesterday it was a great day since I was able to fill my tank up half way for only $20. Well here is the rest of the story.
I filled up with the price of gas at $2.15 with a .5 cent/gallon discount with my fresh value card. This made the amount $2.10 per gallon and that was at about 10:45 a.m.. I left for work and drove by the same gas station at 5:50p.m. and the price now was $1.99 and then I could get .5 cents off with my fresh value card. That is a .16 cent drop in 7 hours. I can hardly stand how excited I am.
So no, my eyes are no longer deceiving me when I look at the price of gas and see it less than $2.00. Isn't it great. I guess when the price of oil is trading at less than $60 per barrell on the stock market and it hasn't been that low in a couple of years, that should result in lower gas prices at the pump and that is trading for December so the price of gas can only go lower. How sweet it is.

The gas prices at the Holiday Oil across the street from my house drops about 10 cents a day. Yesterday coming home from work it was 2.09 today it was 1.99. I have noticed it drops about that much daily. I LOVE IT! I talked to Dad today and he said it is about 2.35 or something still down in EC so fill up the car up here before you head down so you don't have to fill it up down there! :)
Nice I love it...
We used to fill up our tank all the way because we knew the price would go up soon and we hoped to get as many miles as we could on the "cheaper" price. Now we only put in a few gallons because the price will go down and we don't want to pay for a whole tank on a higher price. What a strange world we live in! So many ups and downs. But isn't that the way it is with all of life?
