Last year we had the awesome opportunity to be able to meet with the BYU Football team and have Kayden honored as a Thursdays Hero. You can read more about it here.
I just checked my email and there was a message there from one of the BYU players asking about how Kayden was doing. How cool is that to know that my son made an impact on those BYU football players. Tom Sorenson, number 53, wanted to let us know that they think about us often and wonder how Kayden is doing and that he is in their thoughts and prayers. When I read the email to Kayden he was so excited and was talking about how "awesome" it was.
I think we are one of their biggest fans. Go BYU Cougars!

That is so neat that he remembers kayden. Every time I hear the radio commercial with Coaches Mendenhall and Whittingham talking about kidney donations, I wonder if he is thinking about the little boy who is wearing his hat. I was so excited last week when Jan Jorgensen made that school record of sacks in a year. Proud to know he is from Coal Country. Way to go, BYU!
that is "AWESOME!" as Kayden would say.. pretty cool! I know that Terrance would write me and tell me to tell Kayden to keep on cheering for the cougars! And that the team still thinks of him!
