Where in the world did October go to?

I swear it was just yesterday that I was waiting for birthday parties to celebrate and now they have come and gone.

The most dreaded holiday arrived.....Halloween. I am not a big Halloween fan. I dress my kids up so that they can have fun, but I am not into dressing up or making a big deal out of Halloween. My favorite holidays are coming up....Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Here are the kids in their costumes. Lexi was a fairy princess, Kayden was a Star Wars Trooper and Koy was Batman.

Now my favorite time of year is coming and I can't wait. I know that I will be sick of it by the time it is done having to deal with it at work, but I think that by having a cheerful attitude it helps make things more tolerable for me and for others.

I am going to my parents in a few weeks and I can't wait to get all my Christmas stuff out. I am not getting a lot of new things for a few reason, we can't really afford it right now and because I have a 2 year old by the name of Koy that will destroy everything. I also will be getting my Celine Dion tickets so that I will be prepared to attend the concert on the 21st of November.

I also enjoy this time of year because it reminds me to be thankful and think back on the day that Kayden received his new kidney. The 2 year anniversary will be on November 14. I can't believe it will be two years!

I will be out voting tomorrow and preparing for the winter storm that will be coming in.
