Since we have been home from the hospital things have been....well quite frankly full of drama. My little 3yo, bless his heart, is like Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde. Once I leave the room and he is with someone else he turns into a little angel, but as soon as I am around he turns into the biggest momma's boy and will not let anybody else touch him or look at him or even try to console him. All I hear is "hold me" or "NO, MOM do it" or "NO, GO AWAY want mom". He won't let anybody else give him meds, change his diaper, get him a sippy cup, turn on his movies, or even get him to bed. It is now to the point where if he is in bed and wants to get out he will not do anything until mom comes in and if somebody else comes in he yells at them and points and tell them to go away. It is always mom that he wants.
I also have a 18 month old who has been throwing some temper tantrums and when he is in this state all he wants is mom. No one can talk to him, pick him up or do anything for him but mom when he is in that tantrum.
Then we have those moments when I hear the 7 year old getting mad because the 3 year old is getting into her toys and then I hear that word "MMMMOOOOOMMMM" or you hear the 18 month old and the 3 year old wrestling and then the 18 month old is screaming and he isn't old enought to yell "MOM" but the crying is how he is calling you and then you see him and he has a big old bite mark on his face from the 3 year old.
I know that I need to enjoy these moments, and I really could if only they would learn to use the word "DAD".

Um.. Ty decided that Dad was no longer a part of his vocabulary any more. All you hear is mom. But I would rather that word come out than no words.
