I was wrong and I will admit it

O.K. I may have jumped the gun a little bit in the last post. I listened to the speech and I have read up about Sarah Palin and I think I like her. If she didn't have this running mate named John McCain I would vote for her for President! The one thing that is nagging me in the back of my mind is that she has a 3 month old baby and what will the demands of being a Vice President do to the relationship that she has with her kids. I am all for women working, she would definately be able to pay for a nanny/babysitter but that should not replace mom or dad in the home. I am sure that she is able to balance the pressure and demands of both work and home and I hope that she will be a good role model to women that they can work and be a mom as long as it is a family decision and that you are not working to pay for a babysitter/daycare.

I listened to a comment by Glenn Beck on CNN today and he explained that he is a die hard Mitt Romney supporter and that he truly does not like McCain. They asked him if he would support McCain even if Romney ran and he said that it would be tough and he didn't think that he would be able to but he said that after met with Sarah Palin, he interviewed her back in June, he said that he truly thinks that she has the same outlook that most conservatives these days has and that he probably would be able to support McCain with Sara Palin on the ticket. He said that she truly sees things the way that he does and that she truly is the leader in the up and coming conservative supporters.

So I still have about 67 days to make my decision and I will definately by watching closely to determine who has the best outlook for our country.

Yea I have read up on her, and seems like she has accomplished alot while she has been in office. I'm interested to know what your pro's and con's are for Obama and McCain?

Could be a long post but I love hearing what people have to say.

I heard last night on the news that he was thinking of some lady governor from Alaska and my first thought was "He'll lose." Is he just picking a woman so Republicans have the female and Democrates have the young black man? You know, equally historic. But after listening to her and hearing the commentators, I will just have to sit back and research some more. I listened to Obama's speech last night and was impressed. He was very kind and didn't cut down the other guy, pointed out his good points and all that nice stuff. But admitted he different on many points and I could see his reasoning. I will just have to research and make my decision based on what I find. And that includes on her. I am just wondering if Hillary thinks"Oh, no. She will have my dream job if McCain has a heart attack!"

I saw in today's paper that Palin just announced that her 17 year old daughter is five months pregnant & unmarried. The Daily Herald was speculating on what kind of an effect (if any) this will have on McCain's campaign. Just thought is was an interesting tidbit you might be interested in...
