First Day of Fall

It is the first day of fall and what a better way to start it than a rain shower and cool weather. I know that it won't stay like that forever since we do live in Utah!

I love fall and it is my favorite time of year and I decided to just write down a list of all the great things I love about fall

• The leaves changing color
• The crispness in the air
• the cool nights
• FOOTBALL
• birthdays during the month of October!
• transplant anniversaries!
• the browns and reds and yellows of fall
• jackets
• pumpkins!
• pumpkin dip
• pumpkin pie
• the cute fall decorations: gourds, Indian corn, corn stalks, cat tails, fall foliage
• baking bread
• apple crisp
• pumpkin spice candles from Salt City Candles
• Halloween...I hate to dress up, but I love to see how excited my kids get about Halloween and how much fun they have dressing up.
• Conference....I look forward to General Conference in the fall and I love listening to it with the nice cool weather.
• pulling out the long sleeved shirts and the long pants after wearing the same clothes over and over in the summer it is nice to have a change in the wardrobe department even if they aren't new clothes.
