Women's Conference and Favorites

I wanted to attend Women's Conference, but due to lack of sleep and promising the kids that I would make sugar cookies I didn't make it. However, I did record it and can't wait to watch it. If you were able to watch it I want to hear from you. What made an impact on you? What inspired you or who inspired you? That is your journaling question for today and as soon as I watch it then I will let you know my answers. I may actually just download it to my ipod and listen to it then.

Yesterday I put up the question about favorites. I think a lot of my favorites have changed. One big one is that I no longer go out on dates and chase boys....I have my catch! Some of the things I can think of right off the top of my head is I enjoy church and reading my scriptures. My favorite color was purple in high school, but now I like pink. I did not enjoy scrapbooking or sewing, but now I love it I just don't get to do it as much as I would like. I also like talk radio. I use to make fun of my mom for wanting to listen to talk Doug Wright or Dr. Laura, but now I am just like her and enjoy listening to them more than anything.

Some things are still the same I have a high desire to learn more, I love current affairs and love to watch the news (all news) and I love politics. I don't get into it as much as other people, but I do enjoy everything about it.

Oh, No! You are becoming just like your Mom! The terrible things we pass on to our children: love of current affairs, talk radio, doing things with your children. Shame, shame, shame! :)
