Happy Father's Day

Today was a great warm, wonderful day to celebrate our Dad's.

I am so thankful for my dad. He taught me how to work. I loved going to work with my dad. He was so much fun to be around. I can talk to my dad about anything. He is a great dad and he is a great grandpa to my kids. My dad and Kayden have such a close relationship. Kayden is his little buddy and just looks up to my dad so much. There are some things that Kayden will only do with my dad. My dad has instilled his love of John Deere in Kayden. Maybe that is why Kayden's favorite color is green? I never worry about Kayden when he is with my dad because I know that he is with his best buddy. I am also grateful for my Grandpa Labrum and for the heritage and the legacy that he has left me. I have many great and wonderful examples on my Labrum side of the family that it could be intimidating to try to live up to those examples, but I will do my best to make them proud of what I have become and I hope to teach my kids about the wonderful legacy that they have.

I am so very thankful for my husband! I love him so much and he works so hard to do his best to provide for all of us. The kids adore him and love it when he is around. Lexi is a daddy's girl and she adores her dad. Kayden loves playing with him. The first thing Koy does when he wakes up in go into our bedroom to see if daddy is in there. I know that all of the kids missed him while he was gone, but I think Koy was affected the most while he was gone. Koy adores his daddy and loves to play with him and sit on his lap. It is so cute to see him walk around the house repeating "daddy, daddy, daddy". I am so thankful to have Josh home. I love having him come home from work and just be able to see him! I love all the little things about him. I don't want him to ever have to be gone again for a long period of time. He loves us all so much. He is still that tall, dark, handsome guy with a great body that I married nearly 9 1/2 years ago. I love you so much!

Dallas- He is my sister's husband and he is so good to her and their little boy. He provides for them and he loves them so much. He is very quiet when he is around a lot of people, but he has a big heart and will do anything to help anyone out.

Barrett-He is my only brother! He has two adorable little kids and he loves them SO much. He just graduated from med school and will be a great pediatrician someday. He really loves little kids. He did a rotation with Kayden's doctors at the University of Utah and some of the people that he got to visit with have told me that they thought he was great and that he will make a great doctor. He had a great example growing up and he will continue to be a great father.

Allen-He is my brother-in-law, married to Josh's sister. He is a bishop and a wonderful loving guy. Whenever the family gets together he will sit down and ask how everyone in my family is doing and he genuinely cares about them. He is a great example for my kids and he has raised some wonderful boys who are also great examples for my boys.

Todd-He is my husband's brother. He is a great guy with a strong personality. He has a big heart and will do anything to help you out with whatever you need.

Jared-He is my husband's brother. He is a member of the National Guard and he spent time in Kosovo and in Iraq. He is willing to help anyone out.

Bryce-He is my husband's brother. He is a great friend and a great guy. He is younger than me by only a few months, but I enjoy spending time with him and doing things with him and his wife. He looks up to Josh a lot and they have a great relationship. I know that he loves my kids a lot and will do anything for them.

Ryan-He is my husband's brother. Ryan and Josh are great friends. We lived with Ryan and his wife for a few months while our house was being built. He is a great dad and a hard worker. Josh looks up to Ryan even though Ryan is younger than him. He also has a big heart.

I think that is it. It is hard to say something about all the fathers when you husband come from a family of 8! But I think I got most of them! Happy Father's day to all of you!
